In preparation of an ISO27001:2005 certification, we assisted a leading managed server co-location and data center services provider in Canada in preparation for an ISO27001 certification of its data centre operations in Vancouver and Toronto. We were involved in all phases of the project, including scoping; performing a risk assessment; documenting key security controls; preparing test plans and performing testing procedures; and managing remediation activities. In addition, we facilitated on-going discussions with the external auditors and provided thought leadership to streamline the compliance effort and make internal controls more cost-effective and reliable. We also helped the company train internal resources to perform testing on a permanent basis.

 

As a result of the engagement, Tenzing successfully achieved ISO27001 certification for its Toronto and Vancouver data centres.
